Carolynn Wilson, Principal Architect, Architect, AIBC, MRAIC, M. Arch, B. Tech, LEED AP, with a Masters of Architecture degree from the University of Manitoba and Bachelors of Architectural Science degree from Ryerson. Carolynn has 27 years of architectural experience having practiced architecture in Victoria and Vancouver Island for 17 years, and previously in the Canadian prairies, Western Australia and San Diego.

Carolynn offers a creative vision and an artistic approach to designing spaces and buildings that emphasize the beauty of the space through form, details, the use of materiality, the experience of the space, movement through it and the connection to the exterior. Attention to thresholds, alignments, views, light, and the shifts and centering of spaces to enhance our senses and how we feel about our built environment. Materiality of the building maybe inspired by the site, the locality, or building use. Styles range from modern design to a contemporary version of traditional elements. Efficiency in layouts and integrated sustainability are essential key priorities in the design process as well.

Carolynn works with the clients, co-ordinates the consultants, works with the Districts, provides the building designs and interior design, code and bylaw reviews, full consultant team co-ordination, specifications and Contract Administration and guides her drafting team on a daily basis.

Offering significant experience in multi-unit residential, single family custom residential, affordable, seniors and high-end housing, interiors, education, office space, institutional and commercial buildings, Carolynn provides the complete design of the building and site, interiors, space, drives the project process, project team co-ordination and management, detailing, code review, bylaw review, guides and works closely with her team to thoroughly resolve construction detailing and documentation, provides quality control, municipality communications and provides site construction administration services.

Carolynn also specializes in sustainable building design has delivered several projects that are certified LEED Platinum, Gold and Silver and has current projects designed to meet NetZero Ready, Step Code 3, 4, and 5 and Built Green Gold, leading an integrated consultant team design process.

megan morrison, technologist + interior designer

Megan is a highly skilled architectural technologist with a strong background drafting in Revit and Autocad, compliance management, technical drawings and detailing, and spatial planning. She is experienced in BC building code, coordination, managing multiple projects, and delivering architectural and interior designs on time. She is passionate about integrating innovative design solutions that balance aesthetics with functionality to achieve client satisfaction and project success. Megan’s project experience in Victoria includes multi-unit residential, commercial, institutional, recreation and hospitality buildings.

jennylyn casauay, building technologist

Jennylyn is a skilled Drafting Technologist with training from BCIT and Kwantlen Polytechnic University. She is highly effective at creating accurate renderings, design and working drawings with component detailing. She has worked in local architectural firms, for trade suppliers, and for Building Envelope Consultants bringing specialized experience in these areas of architectural building detailing. She works well with the team, contributing to design and working drawings in cad, Revit BIM modelling and Lumion.

Laressa is Building Technologist highly skilled in Revit BIM Modelling, Autocad, and Lumion with close attention to detail and thorough documentation. Following Laressa’s internship with our firm, we are pleased to have her join us as part of our team. She brings several years of on-site experience construction and is a valued team member.
